Matérials

Here you will find anything you need to make your rocket.

It's just for a simple one so you can change some of them but your new materials must correspond to the same standard.

Tank

For the tank, the part that contain the "fuel", you can take an empty soda bottle or anything that can contain something and can be closed and it has to be stiff.

Ailerons

For this part, you are quite free. We will see 2 exemples in the Production.

Just bear in mind that the ailerons improve the stability of the rockets, you can use cardboard to make them or the rest of a soda bottle or even make them out of metal.

Ogive

For the ogive, the part above the rocket that improve the mouvement through the air, you can slice another soda bottle and take only the upper part.

In general ou can take what ever you want but it has to be conical fit to the tank and be resistant.

Plug

This part is really important, and can be dangerous if you're manipulating it wrong. So be careful.

You can use a cork to seal the soda bottle or you can use a truncated rubber plug.

Valve

To allows the rockets to fly, you have to put "fuel" in it, that the role of the valve. You can take a little one like the ones you use to inflate a ballon, or you can replace this by a bigger one like the ones of plombing.
